Arden Anderson-Broeking President of Crystal Opera Consortium Arden Anderson-Broecking spent many years as a professional singer. She is a music critic, voice teacher, director, and musical director. She is the force behind Crystal Theatre's opera company, which serves as an entry point for young, professional opera singers. Through her tireless efforts, Crystal Opera has presented at least 3 productions a year since its inception, including the world premiere of the Gottlieb/Charlson opera, "The Blinding of Isaac". This past year the company presented "The Magic Pendulum", with music by Harold Littledale and libretto by Peggy Heinrich. The 2000/2001 season will see Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Mikado", the world premiere of Robert Puleo's "Saint Francis", and a gala benefit concert.
