Broadway Boot Camp

Begin the summer with our one week Broadway intensive for 5th-11th grade students. Perform medleys and solos from your favorite current and past hit shows and finish it all off with 2 big performances in our air-conditioned theater! Learn to deliver a song in a supportive atmosphere with students at all levels-from pre-professional to beginner. No experience necessary-just a love for singing and performing! Taught by Crystal Theatre artistic director Cheryl Kemeny, Alexandrea Kemeny and choreographer, Char Fromentin-assisted by college dance/theatre majors.

Full Tuition is $295. There is a $100, non-refundable deposit (credited to your tuition) due June 1st in order to secure your spot.

Our 2-week big musical comedy this year is Crystal Theatre’s Off-Broadway hit—A Spinning Tale- an elaborate version of the Grimm’s Brothers famous Rumpelstiltskin-performed Thursday & Friday night in our air-conditioned theater. This camp is for 5th-11th grade students who love acting, singing and dancing. Lead parts are double-cast to give everyone an opportunity to perform lead as well as ensemble roles, in order to develop all aspects required of today’s musical theatre performers. Directed by Samantha Kulish, musical direction by Cheryl Kemeny, choreography by Char Fromentin; assisted by college dance/theatre major, Alexandra Shapiro.

Full Tuition is $595. There is a $100, non-refundable deposit (credited to your tuition) due June 1st in order to secure your spot.

Alice In Wonderland

A 1-week camp for the younger set which will conclude with 2 performances on Saturday, July 28th at 3:30pm & 6:00pm in our air-conditioned theater. This is a great show for first-timers as well as those students who have already attended Crystal Theatre. The 2 performances allow us to double-cast the roles, giving everyone opportunities for the “bigger parts”. Taught by Crystal Theatre artistic director Cheryl Kemeny(music & singing) and directed by Samantha Kulish; assisted by college dance/theatre major, Alexandra Shapiro.

Arts in the Park

    • Two shows at the Ben Franklin Theater Friday, August 10th @ 6pm and @ 8pm
The ever-popular multi-arts camp will take place again at Cranbury Park in Norwalk, culminating in 2 separate shows based on age-group at our air-conditioned theater! The shows are on Friday, August 10th @ 6pm and @ 8pm. The younger group (1st-3rd) will present Kyle Brenn’s The Pirate Chamber and the theme for the older students (4th-8th) will be Pop-Rock & Broadway. This camp takes place at Cranbury Park on the Norwalk/Wilton line and includes: Watercolors, Dance, Outdoor Games, Arts & Crafts, Scene Study, as well as Musical Theatre. Taught by a large, caring, professional staff -as well as high-school counselors.

Full Tuition is $575 ($540 for Norwalk residents). There is a $200, non-refundable deposit (credited to your tuition) due June 1st in order to secure your spot.
