Directed by Crystal Theatre veteran, Samantha Kulish, with musical direction by author/composer Cheryl Kemeny and choreography by Char Fromentin of Dance Dimensions, this challenging and exciting show has many parts for all ages. Set in the vast snowy North, the show includes magical Snow Sprites who can turn ice into diamonds, toymaker elves who work year-round at their jobs, Captain Cedric and his Viking force—all under the rule of the powerful and controlling, widowed Ice Queen. Her one weak spot is her daughter, the lovely and innocent Princess Crystal. Her one annoyance is her mother-in-law, Omah Lucie. Will the Ice Queen fulfil her wish for total “power and control” or will freedom and kindness prevail? Take part in this magical, dramatic and funny musical and learn to “find the light within”!

All students will develop their acting skills, not only through performance but during structured acting exercises and theatre games throughout the day. The 2 performances are “double-cast” (which means that all the lead parts have 2 performers-one performs a lead at each performance. When not performing a lead part, the actor sings and dances with the ensemble-thereby doubling the learning experience!)
