If you are looking to improve your voice and augment your vocal training join Boston Conservatory graduate and long time Crystal Theatre director/teacher Joseph Santaniello in A Singer’s Masterclass. This class will focus on the many demands facing young singers today. Some topics covered in class may include but are not limited to vocal technique, a heightened sense of musicality and musical accuracy, sight singing, acting, working with a pianist, and learning how to present oneself in a professional audition situation. All singers will get many chances throughout the duration of class to work solo repertoire in front of their peers and learn from both an insiders and outsider position. The students work will culminate in a final public performance. (This class is recommended for those who are already working with a vocal teacher/coach). This class is one you won’t want to miss!

They are eager for change and long to see the beautiful Briar Rose once again. They are startled by the entrance of a stranger – a fox- who attempts to make a meal out of a rabbit, but who is thwarted by the force field that is still in place. Things are further complicated by the return of Brunnhilde (the wicked “fairy”) and her trio of evil-do-ers. Brunnhilde is angry that her sisters interfered with her plans to kill Briar Rose (Sleeping Beauty) and she has come to finish the job. The animals send for the fairy-godmothers to help them. LOUDER THAN WORDS Thurs & Wed, 6:45-9pm - 9th & above
- Price: $295
- David Jackins musical “dramedy” with music and lyrics by Cheryl Kemeny is a perennial favorite among our students and audience. Louder Than Words is a story about the transformative power of theatre as seen through the experience of graduate student, Thomas Brennan. Thomas disturbs the status quo in Nurse Doris Flint’s therapy group when the head of the hospital agrees to a “community building” experiment at the urging of their largest contributor, Amanda Barkley. The group will develop and perform a “play”. Lurching between pathos and hilarity, this show is a big audience pleaser as well as a valuable learning vehicle for aspiring actors. Recommended for those with some acting experience! (Please note that there are many Wednesday rehearsals due to the shortened rehearsal time period. Thursdays will be devoted to choreography of big musical numbers and Wednesdays to acting and solos
