Note: There is no legal entrance to Ben Franklin on Flax Hill Road. All entry is from the Hillside or Bayview Ave. approaches.
From New York:
- Take I-95 North to exit 14 towards South Norwalk.
- Turn right on Fairfield Avenue. Turn right on Flax Hill Road.
- You will see the Ben Franklin building on the right side; make your next right on Taylor Avenue.
- Make a right on Hillside Avenue.
- You will see the back of Ben Franklin on the right, go past the building parking lot and follow the sharp left curve in the road.
Or for a shortcut...
- Turn right onto Fairfield Ave.
- Take next right by the package store.
- Turn left onto Bayview Ave.
- Follow that road through the various stop signs and you will end up facing the entrance to the old Ben Franklin Theater. Park in either lot.
- Enter through the white auditorium doors.
From Fairfield:
- Take I-95 towards New York.
- Take exit 15 US-7 toward Norwalk/Danbury. Keep right at the fork in the ramp.
- Turn left on West Avenue at the end of ramp.
- Turn right on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. drive.
- Turn right on Washington Street.
- Turn left on Flax Hill Road. You will see the Ben Franklin building on the right side;
- Make your next right on Taylor Avenue.
- Make a right on Hillside Avenue.
- You will see the back of Ben Franklin on the right, go past the building parking lot and follow the sharp left curve in the road. Crystal Theatre Parking is the right entrance after the sharp curve.
Or for a shortcut...
- Instead of turning right onto Flax Hill, continue through the intersection up the steep hill.
- Take your first left onto Bayview Ave. Ben Franklin is one block down.
- Enter through the white auditorium doors.
