Margaret Jackins Playwright and show director for Crystal Theatre Margaret Jackins is a professional singer/actress who has performed Off-Broadway, in regional and summer stock theatre, as well as on television and in film. Also an accomplished cabaret singer, Margaret spent 8 months at New York's Don't Tell Mama, and 18 more months on tour in the award-winning revue Say it in Song. Margaret joined the Crystal Theatre staff in 1999. Her musical version of Puss in Boots, with music and lyrics by Cheryl Kemeny, debuted in February 2001. In addition to her work with Crystal Theatre, Margaret teaches acting and scene study for Creative Summer at the Mead School, and Spanish at Rye Country Day School. Margaret holds a degree in Spanish and Vocal Music from the Univeristy of Virginia.
