Matt Chiappetta Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria

  • Open to 6th - 8th grade students
  • Applying for the scholarship requires the following:
    • A completed Application
    • An Audition
    • An Interview
  • Applicant may bring an OPTIONAL song to sing at the audition
  • Scholarship Applications will be distributed throughout local schools
  • Prepare a scene from one of the following shows:

    • Perseus: Perseus/Andromeda
    • The Snow Queen: Kai/Gerda
    • Whistleville: George Hirst/Robin Brennan
  • Essays and forms are due by Thursday,March 4th
  • Interview/Auditions will be held at Ben Franklin on Saturday, March 6th, 2009 at 4:45 PM
  • The winner of the scholarship will be announced by the MCMS Committee at the Memorial Concert, Monday, March 15th at 7 PM. The money raised from this concert will fund the Matthew Chiappetta Scholarships..
