Written by Margaret Jackins, with music and lyrics by Cheryl Kemeny, this fun musical based on the classic fairytale underscores the saying “if life gives you lemons, make lemonade”! When the hapless Jonas inherits Puss at his father’s passing, he thinks he got a raw deal. His sister Clara and brother Raymond inherit the house and the mill and immediately send Jonas and Puss off to make their way however they can. Puss – who amazingly walks and talks - has no intention of roughing it, however, and takes matters into his paws. On a quest to make do with what little they have, Jonas and Puss embark on a journey that leads them to an assortment of merchants, a beautiful Princess, and a scary witch named Cambarella, among others. With parts for boys and girls, this lively musical is sure to be a fun time!
