Felicia Varvaras

Voice Teacher

Felicia Varvaras received her degree at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee in Voice & Opera under the tutelage of Kathryn Wright and coaching with Michael Strauss. Originally from Fairfield, Ms. Varvaras is a graduate of Crystal Theatre. In 2017, Ms. Varvaras traveled with Crystal Theatre to Budapest, Hungary in the first international tour of Cheryl Kemeny and Mariner Pezza’s operetta, “Hungarian Nights” singing the role of Marika. Ms. Varvaras was featured on Hungary’s nationwide broadcasting organization, Magyar Televízío.Since graduating, Ms. Varvaras juggles the demanding balance of the teaching performing artist and serves as associate instructor of voice at Santaniello Vocal Studios as well as maintaining her own private voice studio in Fairfield, CT. Ms. Varvaras has performed professionally in leading musical theatre and opera roles on stages across the world; one being her recent Carnegie Hall debut, where she sang Zerlina in selections from Mozart's opera, Don Giovanni. She made her international debut in Florence as Lauretta from Gianni Schicchi and Suor Genovieffa from Suor Angelica, where she had the pleasure of coaching with Italian Soprano, Katia Ricciarelli and Italian Baritone, Armando Ariostini. Some of her other favorite engagements include Anna Gomez (The Consul), Dialogues of the Carmelites and Dead Man Walking.
